FORGET about working at a warehouse or restaurant. Are you looking to set your own schedule and do meaningful work caring for our elderly population? Home Instead of Volusia County is hiring reliable, compassionate Care Givers throughout the county to start right away. No experience? No problem! We offer PAID TRAINING so that you are prepared to succeed from Day 1.

$13/hr - $18/hr depending on client needs

**COVID vaccine NOT required**

Preferred experience:
Home Health Aide, Nursing Home, Facility

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years old and able to lift 25 pounds
  • Must have valid drivers license
  • Must have a reliable vehicle
  • Proof of car insurance in your name, OR you are on the policy
  • Must be available to work at least 20 hours per week (4 hour shift minimum)
  • Must be able to attend 4 consecutive days of PAID training
1+ year of Caregiving experience is preferred, however the right attitude is everything. If you have the heart, we can teach you the rest!

Responsibilities:
Bathing, toileting, dressing, eating, meal prep, hospice care, laundry, transporting clients to grocery store and appointments, light housekeeping, and companionship alongside ALL ADL's

If you are getting swayed by a higher paying job at a Nurse Registry, keep in mind you will have to pay for your OWN payroll taxes, find your own clients, pay for your own insurance in order to work. Also, keep in mind that should you get hurt on the job, you will not have workman's compensation to cover you.
