Job Description:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled rehabilitation nursing home setting. The LPN will work closely with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and nursing staff, to coordinate and implement individualized care plans for each resident. The LPN will also be responsible for administering medications, performing treatments and procedures, and communicating with residents and their families to ensure their needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments and procedures, and monitoring vital signs
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents
- Communicate with residents and their families to ensure their needs are met and to provide education on their care and treatment
- Document residents' care and progress in accordance with facility policies and procedures
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices and advances in nursing care
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $45.00 per hour
