Machine Cost Estimator Job at Machine Integrator
This is career opportunity for someone who is flexible, good with analysis, and a numbers cruncher.
Work onsite for a manufacturing company in Maysville (must live locally).
The help we need is broad, and will change as you finish up projects and move on to the next one.
Some duties and job requirements:
- Be local to Maysville, or able to move here.
- Be detail and deadline-oriented
- Have strong analytical and problem solving skills; be independent. Be smart.
- Data entry projects
- Analysis and audits of that data, such as costs, labor, engineering, inventory and percent margin.
- Cost estimates for jobs, including assigning new item numbers for assemblies.
- Discover ways to reduce costs.
- Help keep job projects on time and within budget.
- Assist in developing production schedules based on real-time work load.
Successful candidates will have experience doing estimating, and be good in math, statistics, or finance. Experience in manufacturing a big plus. Must have effective communication, presentation, and computer skills include advanced knowledge in Excel. Database experience preferred. This role will spend time both in an office and on the shop floor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,233.52 - $68,149.51 per year
