Where You Will Work
Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM) is the primary division of Stanley Black & Decker Aerospace. We are a leading innovator and strategic partner in the manufacturing of fasteners, fittings, and engineered products for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. CAM is currently comprised of nine subsidiaries across the United States split among three segments.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manufacture products in accordance with Engineering drawings
  • Adhere to all department and Company quality standards
  • Check product dimensions utilizing proper equipment
  • Refer any issues regarding the CNC Lathe area to senior leads or supervisors
  • Assure compliance to all department and Company quality standards
  • Record, as required, all productivity on Company system
  • Clean and maintain machinery according to department and Company standards
  • Adhere to all Company safety regulations
  • The ability to communicate in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Documents all issues and inform supervision.
  • Follows all safety rules and policies.
  • Completes all housekeeping tasks in work area.
  • Performs other duties as required by production Lead.
  • Needs to be neat and organized.

Candidate Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years or more of operation experience with CNC Lathes (such as Okuma, Takisawa, Swiss, Doosan, etc.).
  • Ability to set-up a CNC lathe (including work holding, kitting of tools, touching off of tools/establishing offsets, reading of manufacturing drawings, and first article buy-off) on FANUC or OSP (Okuma) controls.
  • Experience with utilizing a pre-setter off line for tool offsets is a plus.
  • Experience with quick change tooling is a plus.
  • Experience with macro programming is a major plus.
  • Experience with Mastercam (or other major programming software) is a major plus.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Schedule:

  • 1st shift 5:00 am – 1:30 pm
  • 2nd shift 3:30pm – 11:30 pm
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability
