Job Description:
-Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to develop and configure software applications and tools to solve complex problems.
-Demonstrated experience in Mainframe Development.
-Demonstrated experience with COBOL, CICS, EasyTrieve, JCL, TSO/ISPF, DB2, SQL, and Z/OS and MVS.
-Demonstrated experience in Project Management.
-Ability to make determinations based on facts, identify problems, report potential problems, and assess options proactively.
-Ability to understand customer needs, including the level of urgency, and translate them into appropriate automated solutions.
-Ability to ensure implementation of policies and procedures.
-Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, and the tools and techniques used in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle.
-Knowledge of best practices for secure applications development.
-Ability to communicate technical terms and concepts to non-technical staff and clients.
-Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and in a timely manner.
-Ability to establish and maintain effective, positive, and productive working relationships with peers, superiors, subordinates, and customers.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
