Seeking a strong Maintenance Manager/Leader for a Distribution Center in the Chambersburg PA area.
Essential Functions of the job:
- -Ensure all preventive maintenance in a new DC is assigned, done and documented in the CMMS.
- -Assign work orders to mechanics each day
- -Work of any emergency downtime-related issues. Work to keep downtime as low as possible.
- -Ensure facilities are safe. Play a major role to ensure the safety of associates.
- -Assist with any capital improvement projects for the facility-mainly set up of the facility
- -Be hands-on and assist with any breakdowns and PM's as needed
- -Help manage any outside vendors and ensure they meet contractor safety guidelines
- -Be part of the management team for the facility
Desired Skills and Education:
- -Prefer a degree in something technical, but appropriate work experience with suffice
- -Need someone with at least 7-10 years in maintenance roles with at least 3-4 in a leadership role
- -Must have experience with usage of a CMMS system and assigning of work orders to mechanics
- -Must have great maintenance skills-prefer individuals from manufacturing or warehousing/DC environments
- -Good hydraulic, pneumatic, some electrical and electronic (ladder-logic) skills
- -Must be a great communicator and willing to do what it takes to get things done
- -Don't want a job hopper-company will only consider those that are not job hoppers
Jobs are paying between 75-85k supervisors 85-105k Manager DOE with good bonuses and benefits.
