Surf Thru Express Car Wash is seeking driven individuals for a Maintenance Mechanic/Technician position for multi-locations in the Greater Tucson area.

The duties/responsibilities of this position are:

• Perform a wide range of duties related to installing and maintaining machinery and backroom equipment
• Travel between stores and provide routine scheduled maintenance and unscheduled breakdown repairs
• Build trusting relationships with the maintenance and operations team through our culture of accountability
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and test electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, and pneumatic issues
• Read and interpret manuals, work orders, schematics, and other equipment documentation
• Operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other equipment as needed
• Comply with all safety guidelines, procedures, and PPE requirements at all times
• Work efficiently and effectively when juggling multiple projects
• Follow all appearance, uniform, and grooming standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Team

Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of moderate-to-advanced level experience in breakdown industrial and production maintenance preferred

Moderate experience in at least four of the following competencies

• Electrical
• Mechanical aptitude
• Hydraulics
• Welding
• Pneumatics
• Plumbing
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Positive attitude; ability to be flexible when adopting new processes and procedures
• Comfortable working independently and as a member of a team
• Dedication to honesty, integrity, and ethical conduct
• Strong time management skills and experience with planning and troubleshooting
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, off-production hours, and on-call hours
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, perform repetitive motions, see variations in color, and climb and work from ladders
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Car wash experience is not required

Compensation for these positions will vary depending upon experience. Benefits include: Health Insurance, 401k with employer matching contributions upon eligibility.

A work truck and tools will be provided.
