As a Maintenance Tech in the Water Park at Six Flags New England…
You’ll contribute to our mission by:
- Testing pool-water and adjusting water chemistry to meet the standards for pH and sanitation
- Maintaining filtration, circulation, and chemical systems Six Flags New England Hurricane Harbor
- Cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of equipment
- Dismantling defective equipment and installing new or repaired parts
- Complying with all policies, codes, and guidelines set forth by Six Flags New England and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health
- Inspecting facility equipment and physical structures daily, per inspection criteria
- Ensuring proper documentation on all maintenance calls, repairs, and rehab duties
- Performing other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the park
You’ll do it with your:
- Experience as a CPO/AFO, or ability to obtain license within 6 month of employment
- Willingness to learn about pool maintenance
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Sense of fun
- Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to address guest concerns
- Willingness to work in a high performance team environment
You’ll know you’re ready if you’re:
- 18 years old or older with a valid driver’s license
- Able to work at heights over 100 feet
- Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, standing for long periods of time, climbing, etc.
- Able to successfully complete pre-employment background and drug screenings
