General Responsibilities:

• Injection molding machine maintenance
• Programs PC-based molding and secondary equipment, and control systems
• Troubleshoots molding, robots, and secondary equipment
• Diagnoses and solves machine malfunctions
• Repairs electric, hydraulic and pneumatic machine malfunctions
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures
• Observes and corrects irregular machine conditions
• Builds and designs secondary equipment as required
• Fabricate and weld assemblies for production equipment
• Responsible for the repair and maintenance of water cooling systems
• Computer system upkeep
• Installs and upgrades machines and equipment
• Participate in development and use of TPM system
• Train technicians and Maintenance A personnel to perform basic maintenance operations
• Completion of projects as assigned
• Maintain machine and work area cleanliness
• Compliance with all safety policies, regulations and laws
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education, Experience and Core Competency Requirements: Maintenance A

• High school diploma/GED
• 2-5 years of industrial maintenance experience
• CE core competencies at the "Front-line Leaders" level
• Basic injection molding process and equipment knowledge
• Basic writing and math skills
• Lockout/tag out compliance
• The ability to perform heavy lifting & moving
• Valid drivers license /meets Cascades driving policy requirements
• Can perform basic robot operations
• Basic computer skills

Minimum Education, Experience and Core Competency Requirements: Maintenance Tech

• High School diploma, or equivalent, with 8 years experience
• CE Core Competencies at the “Front-Line Leaders” level
• PLC programming experience
• Background and experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electric
• Basic molding process knowledge
• Advanced experience with repair of molding machines and secondary equipment
• Robot programming experience
• Ability to read blueprints
• Strong time and program management skills
• Able to perform heavy lifting and moving/ Rigging of equipment
• Able to trouble shoot mechanical issues
• Can work outdoors for extended periods of time
• Basic writing and math skills
• Detail Oriented
• Ability to work outside in adverse weather conditions and at heights of 15~40 feet
• Must be a self-starter and work with little supervision
• Working knowledge of MS office automation tools
• Working knowledge of applicable safety regulations, laws and policies

Preferred Education, Experience and Core Competency Requirements:

• Associates degree in machine/equipment maintenance (or related technical certificate) with a minimum of 3 years related experience
• Experience with PM systems
• Advanced PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
• TIG – MIG welding
• Operation of drill press, grinder, metal saws, machine rigging
• 10+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience
• REIS robot experience
• Cincinnati machine experience
• Valid Hilo license
