The Manager of Clinical Development reports to the Chief Dental Officer.

Core Responsibilities
  • This leader develops and manages Clinical Development Program, including a program roadmap for professional development content programs. The Clinical Development Program shall include: (1) proactive growth of performance, (2) performance improvement, and (3) quality of care improvement (Clinical Support Program).
  • The Manager works closely with studio and field clinical leaders to enter, track, and exit providers through the Clinical Development Program.
  • They will create programs that focus on specific skill sets that improve patient outcomes of care.
  • This leader is able to identify and develop internal talent for mentorship and education.
  • This leader is able to assess and manage relationships with external educational partners.
  • They will create and manage Continuing Education programs, both virtual and in-person.
  • The Manager collaborates with the Senior Manager of Learning & Development to effectively develop, produce, and roll-out training and assessments for clinical teams that utilize adult learning best practices.
  • This leader creates short-term and long-term strategies for enhancing professional learning.
  • The Manager oversees soft skills and hospitality development and training programs for clinical personnel.
  • The Manager works with RCM to provide information and guidance on provider license renewal in each market.
  • They will incorporate feedback, suggestions and recommendations as necessary to enhance effectiveness and value delivered to providers regarding content and format of programs.
  • They will attend select professional conferences for purposes including scouting presenters and tracking popular CE topics.
  • This leader will vet course presenters and course content for inclusiveness and for fit within Tend workflows.

Educational/Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years experience in healthcare
  • 3+ years experience in leading training, onboarding and team member engagement in a dental healthcare setting

Pay Range: $100K - $125k
