We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to the Operation Manager. We are seeking a candidate to undertake a variety of entry level HR administrative responsibilities. Duties may involve a wide range of support to our HR department, from maintaining our employee personnel files to posting job ads and reviewing candidate resumes.

Job Description:

• Assist with day-to-day operations of HR functions and duties.
• Provide administrative support to Human Resources Manager.
• Compile and update employee records.
• Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
• Conduct initial orientation for newly-hired employees.

Qualifications:

• Prior 2-3 years of experience as an HR Assistant, staff assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position.
• Basic knowledge of labor laws and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to use and maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Exhibit strong verbal, written, presentation, planning, time management and organizational skills. Ability to write, edit and proofread correspondence and presentation materials for accuracy and style.
• Ability to be a strong team player, work independently and collaborate with others as appropriate.
• Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Mandarin/Chinese bilingual (MUST)
• Authorized to work in the US (MUST)

Location:

Most of the work can be done remotely, but will be required to able to commute to office in Farmington Hills, MI.
