Job Description:
AriensCo is seeking a motivated and passionate Manufacturing Engineer Technician within our Weld area.
This position is located in Fayetteville, TN.
THE DAY TO DAY…
  • Support sheet metal fabrication in the welding and machining areas
  • Manage a team of Weld Robot Technicians and Weld Programmers
  • Comprehend capacity requirements and formalize processes to achieve the required demand
  • Manage layout and process flow
  • Work closely with the Tool and Die department engineering process fixturing
  • Analyze needed tooling and process steps for all engineering changes and new products
  • Setup/revise process data: Including information about on time and material usage to produce the various parts involving to perform time studies or even produce some prototype parts to get accurate data to enter
  • Study’s existing process and designs and executes experiments/tests looking to improve efficiency (a new tool, change to a build order, adding or deleting a task or step)
  • Coordinates Process Trials on any changed or new product has a process as part of its launch
  • Interprets data from the quality reports and determines needed actions to operations
  • Research’s new process and investigates new ways to do our tasks, research out how other companies process similar parts to find the best solution.
  • Works with NPD Engineering and Operations to recommend best practice procedures and techniques in producing parts or products
  • Training and documenting: Working with the manufacturing teams operators in a particular task or how a piece of equipment works and may document a process, creating a training aid/standard work for a process
  • The manufacturing engineering technician will be proactive in problem solving and will be involved in safety, productivity, quality and future state planning events
THE QUALIFICATIONS…
  • CWI certification or open to obtaining certification
  • Familiarity with Miller Panasonic robotic welding processes and equipment
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing role
  • Demonstrate ability to lead and implement continuous improvement projects in order to achieve value stream goals
  • Solid Works or equivalent CAD experience preferred
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail and be able to integrate new and old equipment designs and layouts
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, CAD drawings, and legal documents
  • Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from employees, customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community
  • Ability to effectively present information to employees, management, and/or public groups
  • Ability to define problems; collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical, or drawing form; and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
