SUMMARY
Drives a forklift to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in warehouse, storage yard or factory. Moves levers and presses pedals to drive forklift and control movement of lifting apparatus. Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products and transports load to designated area. Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the accurate loading of all palletized orders.
• Receives incoming product and stock to assigned area.
• Operate and clean the palletizer and the bander.
• Clean up all debris and hose down immediately after any spill.
• Notify shift supervisor immediately of any breakdown and mixed products.
• Set aside mistake products for re-stocking.
• Do not remove any products from trailers that are not consigned to High Point.
• Must be available all shifts; to include nights, weekend and holidays.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to learn.
• Forklift License.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Requires climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, reaching and handling. Able to lift medium (50 lbs. max. or 25 lbs. frequently).

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work in the cooler room, usually kept at approximately 40*F and not less than 34*F. Contact with water or dairy liquids.
