Mackinac Island Ferry Company is currently seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our marketing crew!
This position will work closely with the Marketing Director to develop marketing plans, promotions and assist in organizing and attending promotional and company events in addition to managing our social media accounts.

Your Contributions to the Crew
Provide marketing support in social media, print collateral, promotional material, website management to name a few….- Plan, script, schedule and publish social media
- Shoot photos, videos, live feed, reels to develop social media content
- Manage and meet social media budgets
- Analyze, report and recommend on social media data
- Support website content and updates
- Support and collaborate on branding
- Support other marketing and company initiatives as needed
- Maintain company standards of appearance and cleanliness
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Degree in related field - preferred
- Experience managing social media – 3 yrs. required
- Creative design experience – 1 yr. preferred
- Knowledge and experience of marketing tools, software and concepts – 3 yrs. required
- Pass background checks, drug & alcohol testing as mandated by US Coast Guard.
- Available to work peak tourist times including nights, weekends & holidays
- Available to travel to local work locations
