CTS Brand Manager
As Chicago Pneumatic Compressors/Pneumatech CTS Brand Manager, you will be responsible for product marketing of CP/Pneumatech aftermarket products. You will report directly to the VP of Operations Chicago Pneumatic.
Implementation of Customer Center CTS Brand activities:
- Define the marketing strategy for products and present to UTO Management Team
- Product Value Training: strategies/tactics/features-benefits/arguments & assist management with identifying new ways to market
- Implementation of sales & marketing promotions for all aftermarket products in North America
- Coordinate marketing activities with management including & as needed:
- Preparation of all technical materials such as brochures, leaflets, presentation, etc.
- Development of training packages for e-learning, webinars, class and individual training
- Organization of new product launches, product information, sales training, campaigns
- Provide input to the Product Companies for new product development & competitive approach
- Actively participate in price management for aftermarket, in order to enhance our direct profitability, partner development, and market alignment
- Provide feedback of competitor campaigns, partner requests, and additional opportunities as they appear
Marketing & Intelligence
- Collect & maintain marketing information and product performance information for all products ongoing
- Manage all documentation in a centralized portal for ease of data access
- Provide regular updates on competitive pricing, strategy, and tactical moves
- Train partners on internal company resources and when/were/how to access
- Prepare and present Sales & Marketing results, goals, analysis, and strategy on a quarterly basis
- Develop Individualized Sales Campaigns on an account-by-account basis
Sales Training
- To prepare and update training materials to drive development of business and company strategies.
- To provide intensive training of product knowledge to sales team and distributors for products.
Co-ordination and support to indirect sales team
- To support indirect sales team to achieve sales target
- To provide product marketing support for partners in terms of added value, warranty coverage, and branding strategy to achieve maximum customer value
Professional Development - Through training and development, remain current in the product knowledge and sales/marketing skills necessary to be effective in the position. Management training can also be considered.
Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers.
Perform all duties in accordance with Group standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.
Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What we expect of you?
Experience
5+ years of relevant experience in sales and marketing of technical, industrial equipment (preferably compressed air equipment).
Proven ability to successfully achieve sales goals and implement business development planning.
Education
4-year Engineering, Business, or Marketing degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills
- Must be a self-directed team player, who has a positive attitude, can motivate those around them, and is service oriented.
- Must also have excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Travel to support partner sales activities will be required. Up to 5% local, up to 20% overnight, and up to 10% international.
