Marketing Coordinator – Events & Programs
We are RCX Sports and are in the youth sports business. While diverse in our offerings, we are the official licensee and operating partner of NFL FLAG, JR NBA Leagues, NHL Street Hockey, MLB Jr. Pitch Hit and Run and MLB Jr. Home Run Derby. RCX Sports is looking for an experienced marketing professional to join our dynamic marketing team to assist with the strategic planning, execution, and day-to-day management of all marketing aspects surrounding the RCX Sports brands including NFL FLAG, NHL STREET, Rivals Camp Series and more. This position will also assist in budget management for Events & Programs. To be successful in this role you will need to collaboratively work with the RCX Marketing team, brand partners, and internal staff to promote alignment with annual marketing department initiatives.
What you’ll do:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of annual strategic marketing programs, including experiential, brand, and digital programs that meet internal and external goals and objectives
  • Assist with branding needs during RCX Sports events and act as marketing lead when on-site at event properties
  • Manage marketing inventory, pull branding/marketing promotional items for internal and external partners
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Operations, and League Success Team on project work
  • Assist the Project Manager with the creation of new marketing timelines and alignment with Marketing Department
  • Assist Marketing Director and Creative Director in maintaining and optimizing the brand approval process for internal and external partners
  • Research marketing trends and analyze new opportunities for programs within RCX Sports properties
  • Assist in planning and management of the marketing budgets for all RCX Sports properties to ensure programs are delivered on time and within budget
What you’ll bring:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • At least 2 years of prior event marketing experience
  • Prior marketing experience in collegiate or professional sports environment preferred
  • Prior experience with the planning, coordination, setup, and/or operation of marketing events
  • Critical thinking under pressure with demonstrated experience in processing complex and cross-functional tasks across multiple systems, timelines, and budgets
  • Creative and innovative mindset with demonstrated ability to quickly improvise, see alternatives and provide solutions
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and ability to build authentic, collaborative relationships with internal and external partners
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to remain organize and manage time effectively

More about the role:
  • Travel: You will travel to events 65% of the year
  • Work Schedule: Full-Time (40-45 hours per week) M-F, some nights and weekends
  • Location: Atlanta - Hybrid
  • Reports to: Marketing Director – Events & Programs
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: None
