Material Handler, 1st Shift Job at Kuehne+Nagel

Your Role
You will report to a Manager and perform a variety of tasks such as receiving, shipping, putaway, pick and pack, and recording shipment data. You may also use power tools and material handling equipment such as a pallet jack.Your Responsibilities
- Maintain files and perform cycle counts
- Pack hardware and produce customer required labels and paperwork
- Unload packages from incoming trucks; inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
- Verify packages according to order and invoices; contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified
- Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
- Work overtime or weekends when needed
Your Skills and Experiences
- High school diploma or GED
- Can walk/stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 35 pounds
- Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Must be a U.S. citizen to work at this site
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 to work at this site
