Job Description: Performs installation, inspection, testing, preventative maintenance, and a variety of minor repairs and installations on plumbing, electrical, boiler, fire, detection, mechanical, and HVAC systems. Performs necessary upgrade activities on all buildings and applicable equipment. Strong plumbing experience required.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Trained in at least one Engineering trade (carpentry, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, boiler and controls, welding, etc.).
- Basic knowledge and practical experience of other building trades in which the applicant is not licensed, to include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boiler and control systems.
- Basic knowledge and use of manual and power tools.
- Ability to read and follow codes, specifications, blueprints, and drawings.
Preferred: Certification in the trade(s). Hospital experience.
Experience: Minimum of four years of trade experience in a primary/supervisory capacity in a commercial setting.
