The role you’ll contribute:

The Laboratory Technician LP is responsible for laboratory support procedures, including processing of all laboratory specimens in all areas of the clinical laboratory. Maintains accurate laboratory records. Follows laboratory policies and procedures; maintains quality control practices in the laboratory. Acquires state licensure and or/national certification within 120 days of hire.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Associate's Degree in related field

• One year of clinical lab experience or completion of a clinical internship in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent program

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• Bachelor's Degree in related sciences with appropriate state licensure if required or appropriate national certification.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION:

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

• Eligible for state licensure as a Medical Laboratory Technician or equivalent term for assigned work area based on the state regulatory agencies.

• Eligible for national certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician or equivalent as required by respective state.

• Appropriate state licensure and or national certification if required to be obtained within 120 days of hire.
