Family Care Health Centers located in South St. Louis City (one location in the Carondelet Neighborhood & one location in the Forest Park Southeast Neighborhood) is seeking full-time and part-time experienced Medical Assistants to work as an integral role in a growing health care team environment. The MAs will work closely with their designated care team to provide direct patient care and participate in tasks which maintain the overall organization and operations of clinical services. The ideal candidates must be enthusiastic, motivated, hard-working, able to multi-task, have a great attitude and must be a rapid learner. FCHC provides a culture of teamwork, professionalism and mutual respect. The positions require the ability to work either a full-time or part-time schedule. Positions report directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager. COVID vaccine, FLU vaccine and PPD screening are required for employment at FCHC.

Qualifications include:

*High School Diploma or GED Certificate required

*Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant School required

*2+ years of medical office experience in a community health center or medical office setting preferred

*Demonstrated ability of good communication and customer service skills required

*Computer literacy and working knowledge of medical records and documentation required

*Phlebotomy skills preferred

*Ability to organize and prioritize work tasks

*Bi-lingual skills a plus!
