The Five Rivers Health Center is an expanding Federal Qualified Health Center located in Dayton and Xenia, Ohio providing a medical home for low-income patients. Position Overview
The Medical Assistant must abide by various regulatory compliance rules and must always treat patients with dignity and respect. The MA must be able to work in a patient focused, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
General Responsibilities
- Responsible for entering patient data in EPIC
- Notifying RN and/or Provider of important patient information
- Preparing patient rooms, stocking supplies, & cleaning
- Assist with exams & procedures
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Associates Degree in healthcare or business field preferred
- Formal Medical Assisting training required
- Medical Terminology knowledge preferred
- Windows-based computer experience required
