SUMMARY
The Medical Office Associate is a vital team member of the Endocrinology office that performs a number of secretarial and general office work. The position requires high energy and the ability to multitask. In return, you will have a rewarding position that provides you with positive patient satisfaction and results.

Responsibilities include:
  • answering telephone calls and responding to routine questions
  • preparing and maintaining patient charts
  • greeting patients and scheduling appointments
  • gathering and verifying patient information and insurance
  • processing referrals
  • screening and sorting mail and documents
  • and more!

QUALIFICATIONS
1. High school graduate with medical office training or prior office experience required.
2. Pennsylvania state police criminal record check, child abuse history clearance and an FBI criminal history check required.
3. BLS certification recommended.
4. Knowledge of medical terminology would be helpful, but not required.

  • Work performed in climate-controlled, indoor setting 80.00%
  • Frequently required/prolonged sitting, standing or walking 80.00%
