The position is responsible for scheduling patient appointments for the Acute and Ambulatory sectors, ensuring medical necessity compliance, and order management.
Role and Responsibilities:

Principal Accountabilities:
- Handle complex calls that require increased medical terminology knowledge.
- Proficiently processing complex and multiple appointments requires increased coordination and accuracy across 1-2 department
- functions/services.
- Schedules patient appointments and enters required information in the computer system accurately and promptly.
Job Description Minimum Qualifications:
- Three (3) years of experience in a hospital, clinical, or customer service setting
- Two (2) years of experience in a call center environment
- Experience with Cisco, TeleOpti, and scheduling systems
- Experience with medical terminology
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proficient typing/keyboarding skills
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
