Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Mission Assurance Staff Officer to join our team! In this role you will get to support overall MA Program administration requirements .

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support the Mission Assurance Program Manager with project management related activities to include administration, plan review, meeting and project facilitation, metrics reporting, meeting minutes, task tracking, meeting coordination, scheduling, plan updates and edits.

  • Apply organizational, program and project management skills to track projects to completion, while managing milestones, deadlines, tasking and calendars.

  • Support metric reporting to NGA organizations on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis (e.gl, Joint Force Readiness Reviews, Expected Accomplishments).

  • Support monthly-to-annual MA program budget requirements and five-year program builds.

  • Apply strategic thinking and perspective for problem identification, issue analysis and resolution.

  • Research and evaluate new concepts and processes to improve MA Program performance.

  • Analyze cross-functional problem sets, identifies root causes and resolves issues.

  • Support training and collaboration events.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience within related field

  • Demonstrated risk management and critical thinking skills supported by experience and a proven track record of applying these skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently perform a wide range of MA support functions, requiring vision, leadership, and proficiency in developing, explaining and implementing MA policy.

  • Demonstrated ability to work from an Agency perspective for problem identification, analysis and resolution.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems, analyze them and recommend solutions with minimal guidance.

  • Strong organizational and customer service skills.

  • Strong ability to communicate orally and in writing (technical and non-technical).

  • Demonstrated experience in research and evaluation of new concepts and processes to improve EM Program performance.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

  • Completed FEMA approved Incident Command System (ICS) training (e.g., ICS-100/200/300/400/700/800) within 180 days

  • Top Secret SCI


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • FEMA Level 1 (PCP) Certification within 180 days

  • Basic understanding of Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DOD) desired.

  • Prior position supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)

  • Knowledge of the NGA mission and organization

Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph

Salary Range:

$92,200.00 - $161,400.00
