As a Mortgage Liquidation Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:
- Identify the member's financial needs &recommend and appropriate Credit Union Solution
- Assist members in the timely resolution of defaulted TFCU mortgage obligations
- Minimize the credit union's exposure to loss due to mortgage loans
Salary Range:
The salary range is $66,593-$83,242; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in business administration, accounting, finance or related area; six years’ experience in credit and collections and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Keys to success:
In order to be successful as a Mortgage Liquidation Collections Specialist, you must possess these qualifications:
- Valid driver's license maintaining an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code as it relates to foreclosure
- Knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act & other laws/procedures or the collection process
- Knowledge of court and legal procedures
- Knowledge of the lending process, including delinquent real estate loan restructuring
- Knowledge of Fannie Mae & VA collection procedures and foreclosure requirements
- Knowledge of Oklahoma real estate procedures & related laws
