ZLA Solutions has a client in Cullman, AL looking to onboard (Direct Hire) -3

We are seeking an ambitious, experienced MULTICRAFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN for its manufacturing operations- shift is 6p-6a (12 hrs)

Responsibilities

Job duties include:

o Perform mechanical and electrical failure diagnoses and repairs on advanced industrial equipment.

o Equipment types include pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, programmable logic and computer controlled systems used to produce PEXA Pipe and PVC gaskets.

o Perform preventative and predictive maintenance task ensuring equipment production readiness at all times.

o Communicate with coworkers and management personnel both verbally and written whereby information may be passed that is critical for production readiness.

o Work on projects as necessary for improvements or production growth.

o Respond to trouble calls in a timely manner eliminating unnecessary downtime.

o Find root cause of failures eliminating repeat failures for the same issue.

o Have a troubleshooting strategy which will aid in finding and repairing failures quickly.

o Perform calibration on equipment.

o Preferred associate degree in maintenance related field. 5+ years preferred industrial maintenance experience.

o Experienced in diagnoses and repair of pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, programmable logic and computer controlled systems.

o Be able to read and comprehend electrical and mechanical blue prints including pneumatic schematics.

Qualifications

· Education and/or Experience Required:

o Associate Degree in a Maintenance related field or 10 year on the job experience

o Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

o Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to read and carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to analyze problems involving production and notify proper people

o Experienced in diagnoses and repair of complex automated equipment

o Be able to read and comprehend electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings/schematics.

o Experience with maintaining extrusion dies. Tool and Die experience preferred.

o Ability to travel Internationally for training purposes

o Must be able to work 12 hours shifts.

2. What is each leg of 400Vac

3. Which is a nearly maintenance free motor, AC or DC? Explain how?

4. Why do most extruders use a DC motor

5. Looking at a schematic, how can you tell what current a motor is?

6. Explain a simple seal in circuit.

7. What components make up a common heater circuit?

8. What is an SSR? What does it do?

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
