As a Network Specialist I/II, you will be responsible for the following:
- Design, test, implement, maintain, and support the corporate data communications network, with emphasis on throughput and dependability
- Serves as corporate gatekeeper for all networking functions and regularly interfaces with TFCU management, other credit union employees, and members are required
Salary Range:
The starting salary range for a level one is $91,075-$112,933 and a level two is $101,094-$125,356; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.
Education/Experience Requirements:
You must have:
- A bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university in computer science, math or engineering required and five to ten years related experience and/or training
- Must hold applicable technical certifications, and/or is able and willing to attain them within an agreed to timeframe including passage of related examinations (i.e. - Microsoft, Unix, Cisco, etc.)
Keys to Success:
In order to be successful as a Network Specialist I/II, you must possess these qualifications:
- Some formal electrical training is preferred for job safety
- Excellent knowledge, experience, and utilization skills with Fiber and Ethernet data communications equipment and software or their equivalent
- Flexibility to work on-call on evenings and weekends on maintenance or special projects as required and ability to travel to various locations
