Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent Job at Fairfield Inn & Suites DuPont
We are looking for a full time Night Auditor/Guest Service Agent to work the overnight shift. The Night Auditor has the responsibility to work independently, oversee and perform the Front Desk/Guest Service Agent duties as well as manage the hotel end of day operations.
Responsibilities
This position requires the ability to ensure guests receive prompt, professional and personal attention
- Review daily transactions and checklists for completion and accuracy
- Run audit reports and prepare daily closing paperwork
- Perform check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage in-person, online and phone reservations
- Cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service and guest recovery
- Ensure emergency procedures are followed in the event of an emergency
- Make decisions and apply time management effectively
- Inventory and stocking of the market
- Assist with breakfast set up
Skills
- Previous hotel or customer service experience is preferred but not required
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to interact with many types of individuals and personalities
- Friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
- Have strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work with and secure sensitive and/or confidential material and information
- Must be able to properly and confidently operate basic office software, machines and devices including computers, copier and printers
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision
- Respond to and handle unfamiliar or urgent situations
- Stand for long periods of time, lift up to 25 lbs

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
