Essential Functions Statement

• Selects, supervises, develops, evaluates, and motivates personnel on their designated shift
• Plans and organizes human resources effectively to maximize productivity, while ensuring safety and quality requirements are adhered to
• Provides technical leadership to shift personnel, including line setup/operation, metrics definition/reporting, testing, troubleshooting, and training facilitation
• Directs personnel management initiatives to include attendance tracking, staffing, safety training/reporting, employee performance reviews, counseling, corrective action, and development/retention
• Makes recommendations on delegation of responsibility and recognize, develop, train, and utilize talents and capabilities of all shift personnel
• Promotes and Drives continuous improvement initiatives to include 6S and Lean Manufacturing
• Develops new processes to accomplish and achieve costs savings, and support new product launches
• Troubleshoots production issues and implements permanent solutions
• Participates in Root Cause Corrective Action meetings to address production issues
• Develops, maintains, and audits process lockdown parameters and BOPs
• Identifies the need for replacement tooling and handles the development of these tools
• Conducts investigations involving near misses, incidents, and accidents and ensures appropriate corrective action is taken
• Works closely with human resources and in managing workers'' compensation claims and return-to-work programs to limit liability
• completes professional development initiatives and promotes developmental opportunities to shift personnel
• Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management

Education

Preferred Bachelor's or better's degree in Engineering or a related field.

1-3 years of Supervision of a production crew in a manufacturing facility

Pay: $75,000.00 - $87,000.00 per year
