Novelty Twist Operator - Yarn Job at Valdese Weavers
Job Summary: Operate Novelty machine to produce decorative yarn. Meet deadlines and production quotas.
- Order yarn from other departments as needed;
- Operate Novelty machine;
- Change creels of yarn that Novelty machine draws from;
- Monitor Novelty machine to ensure good quality;
- Maintain personal attendance practices to meet established company goals;
- Maintain personal work habits, which meet the demands and stresses of the job;
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well with others.
- Ability to detect color changes.
3rd shift: 11:00pm to 7:00am, Sunday to Thursday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.40 per hour
