Nurse Manager
As Nurse Manager you will lead a team of RNs and LPNs providing psychiatric crisis stabilization services, working in conjunction with psychiatrists, psychiatric certified nurse practitioners, physician assistants, therapists and mental health technicians to provide detoxification, psychiatric and medical evaluation, medication management and other services. The position requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as an interest in serving individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure nursing documentation is completed timely and in compliance with applicable policies, procedures and regulations
- Ensure nursing documentation accurately reflects the medical needs of patients
- Ensure the orders of physicians and other practitioners are properly noted and followed
- Administer and supervise the administration of medication
- Hire, supervise and train nursing staff
- Develop and maintain a nursing schedule and assignment of responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Possess a valid nursing license in the State of West Virginia
- Prefer 5 years experience in the nursing field
