Job Description:

EMMA is currently seeking Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Advanced practice providers (APPs), and Physician Assistants (PAs) to join our team at Desert Valley Hospital located in Victorville, CA. EMMA is dedicated to delivering high-quality care to our patients. We focus on promoting a positive work culture of compassionate care and improving quality of life. Responsibilities:

• Examine patients and their medical records
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, etc.)
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses
• Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases
• Maintain accurate records and schedules
• Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribe medications
• Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics, and prevention
• Oversee patients' overall health
• Promote good health practices
• Advance professional knowledge and conduct research

Skills:

• Candidates must be newly graduated or have proven experience as Nurse Practitioners in a hospital or ER.
• Expertise in primary care, acute care, and chronic care practices
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong ethics
• Team spirit with a positive attitude
• Patience and cool-headedness
• Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience

Requirements:

• PALS Certified
• ACLS Certified
• BLS Certified
• Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience preferred
