What we’re looking for in you
Required:
- High school student or high school graduate
The skills/experience you bring as a Nutrition Aide
Required:
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to be on feet up to 8 hours a day
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Enjoys working alone as well as working with other staff
Preferred:
- Food preparation and/or food service skills
The purpose of the Nutrition Aide role
As a Nutrition Aide you will prepare cold foods and nourishments for patients and cafeteria services. This position serves on the patient tray line and in the cafeteria. The Nutrition Aide washes dishes, pots and pans, etc. used in daily meal service. This position also operates the cash register.
