Bring a Trailer continues to grow, and so does our office and team! As a result, BaT is looking for an Operations Specialist to assist with the execution of all our day-to-day operations, ensuring we’re building a highly effective organization through our people and processes.

The ideal candidate is someone who excels at juggling multiple priorities, engaging stakeholders, and solving problems, and is interested in working on initiatives across all business areas, ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly while fostering an environment where all employees thrive.

This is a full-time position that can be done onsite in our San Francisco offices or remotely from the following states: CA, CO, DE, FL, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, NC, NM, NY, OH, PA, RI, TX, VA, WA, WI. Please note that we can only consider remote applicants from the aforementioned states.

What You’ll Do

  • You will process accounts payables for all vendors, customers, and other business needs.
  • You will assist with basic general accounting tasks and monthly reporting needs.
  • You will communicate with vendors, partners, BaT community, and internal departments in a timely manner, and maintain constant and effective communication.
  • You will work with the internal departments and stakeholders to process payments and ad hoc requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • You will work with the Operations team and other stakeholders to build and maintain a strong culture and work environment for both local and remote employees.
  • You will collaborate with various internal departments to assist with ad-hoc projects. (Events, Partnerships, etc.)
  • You will assist with community engagement initiatives such as our annual charity calendar, annual community awards, etc. with cross-functional collaboration for successful execution.
  • You will provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling and organizing company events, and taking on additional duties and projects as needed.

Who You Are

  • You have 1-3 years of accounts payable or other relevant accounting or finance experience
  • You have 2+ years of managing a high level of administrative tasks on a daily basis
  • You are proficient in G-Suite, Word, and Excel with a willingness to learn more advanced skills
  • You have experience working in Oracle or similar global ERP systems (plus)
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills: a high level of motivation, integrity, and warmth.
  • You have methodical organization skills: the ability to manage many different stakeholders and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • You can be trusted to be tactful and handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • You are solutions-oriented: you can resolve conflict independently with patience and empathy but know when to ask for guidance.
  • You have a can-do attitude: you are flexible and eager attitude toward helping with company needs as they arise.
  • Domain knowledge and an interest in the kind of vehicles we feature on BaT each day is a plus!

The base salary for this role is between $70 – 75K. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
