ESN Group, makers of Earth Science beauty and Ceramedx skincare products, is seeking an Order Entry/Customer Service Associate to work on-site in our Carpinteria office. Part of the Sales & Marketing team, this position is responsible for order processing and customer service (via phone and email).

Responsible for inputting and tracking incoming orders and PO's, discounts, and due dates, and juggling multiple tasks which require team collaboration and conflict resolution. Requires accuracy, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and an understanding of administrative operational tasks. Customer service oriented, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and ability to work strategically, independently, and collaboratively.

Job Function

  • Entry of various order types, P.O. confirming, inventory allocation, and price checking
  • Distributor order processing, production, and fulfillment
  • Play a vital role in customer service and order desk functions
  • Answer phones, process phone and web orders, and respond to customer inquiries
  • Support broker networks by scheduling, entering, and processing product requests
  • Build broker kits and onboarding products and materials
  • Keep current and accurate customer feedback files
  • Update distributor item codes, upload product information, and spec sheets
  • Monitor product inventory and fulfillment schedules
  • Product profile maintenance and portal entry assistance
  • Prepare products, samples, collateral for mailouts
  • Assist with social media engagement
  • Support basic marketing and sales operations, customer support, product information and processes
  • Execute general office tasks, administrative upkeep, submissions, sales initiatives and broker support

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years in one or more related fields, including customer service, office assisting, administrative work, data entry, office/computer skills a must
  • Understanding of pricing, percentage discounts and math (required).
  • Must have strong attention to detail, accuracy, and numbers
  • Ability to communicate professionally by phone, in-person, and email
  • Good writing skills as well as verbal presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Multi-tasking; can handle several projects and tasks at one time
  • Proficiency in mac platforms, MS Word, and Excel
  • Familiar with PowerPoint and presentatin platforms helpful
  • Must have the ability to establish and maintain a calendar and project timelines
  • Must be focused, incredibly organized, show excellent attention to detail
  • Should be self-motivated and demonstrate an ability to take the lead on projects and work autonomously, while also working effectively in a collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPG, beauty, or natural industry experience in sustainability-focused company a plus
  • Pride in accuracy and attention to detail is critical for this position
  • Organization and operational mindset

This is currently a 32 hours per week position. Office hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday. Some flexibility can be accommodated.
