Supply Chain Task Force Analyst

Job Summary:

Our client in Center Line, MI is looking for a Supply Chain Task Force Analyst. This is a contract position.

What You Will Do:

The Packaging Engineer responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • New model part set up.
  • Supplier packaging specification and cost approvals.
  • Non-Conformance ticket resolution.
  • Packaging standardization.
  • Supplier training as needed.
  • Special Projects as needed with management.
  • Cost Savings projects as needed.
  • Must drive to various plants in metro Detroit, pick up the parts, get them packaged, and make sure we can get them shipped to dealers.

Basics:

  • Bachelor of Science in Packaging Engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organization and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of mainframe systems & applications.
  • Microsoft Access and Excel experience.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft and Google applications.
  • Confident speaking presence at the senior executive level.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other areas of Supply Chain.
  • Ability to work independently, at times.
