Five Paws of Delaware County is a small business based out of Delaware County, PA. Our goal is to provide the very best reliable animal care when owners can't be there!

We have designed our company to provide the very best services while offering our employees a great work environment which includes:

We offer a variety of services including daily dog walks, vacation visits, overnight visits and cat care. As the company continues to quickly grow, we are looking to add several more animal lovers to our team.

*We are looking right now to fill openings for part time dog walkers and pet sitters who are in need of supplemental income! May be a great fit for small business owners, stay at home moms with school aged children, retired folks or college students!

This is an employee position where you will be paid per completed visit. Our regular employees average earn $15-20/hour (plus tips).

Please read the requirements carefully - this job is not for everyone!

Requirements (please do not apply if you cannot meet each of these):

• SCHEDULING: Must have a flexible schedule and open to help with a variety of visits; The current opening is for very part time work - someone who loves animals, is reliable and is looking for supplemental income. There would be options for evening/weekend work or daytime work.
• HOLIDAYS- Must be available to help with some visits on most holidays (we are a pet sitting company - clients depend on us to take care of their pets when they are away)
• Must love and be comfortable and physically able to handle ALL types of pets - large and small! Should have some dog and cat experience as well as be okay with other small animals.
• Should be a people person, be professional, and have excellent written and verbal skills for communicating with our clients and with the office
• Must be enthusiastic and excited about this type of work!
• Be extremely reliable and dedicated - animals depend on us no matter what! It is understood that calling out is a rarity.
• Must be flexible and open to pick up last minute changes/additions to the schedule; most visits are scheduled ahead of time but sometimes we have last minute requests that we need to accommodate
• LOCATION: Must live/work within the service area of Delaware County - preferably near Aston, Media or Glen Mills
• Must be okay working outdoors in all types of weather (Rain or snow, Fido will still need his walk!)
• Must have a reliable cell phone with texting capabilities and access to a computer with internet; Must have your own vehicle
• Must be reachable (as noted above we get many last minute changes and you will need to be reachable)
• Must be willing to submit to a background check
