Position: Patient Care Tech/Clerk – Inpatient Unit
Duties: Provides direct patient care and clerical functions within an assigned unit, under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, and other duties.
Hours: Full Time, day shift 7:00am – 7:30pm, 3 shifts per week, alternating weekend rotation.
Salary: Rates starting at $16.50 per hour with additional increments based on experience. Then add $2.00 per hour for C.N.A., P.C.T. or E.M.T certification.
Required Education/Experience:
- NYS Registry as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Tech or Emergency Medical Technician, with minimum experience of 6 months in a healthcare environment, or a Nursing Student who has completed the first semester
- Minimum experience of 1 year in a healthcare environment, if not a NYS Certified Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Tech or EMT, or a Nursing Student who has completed the first semester
- BLS Certification is required.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or medical exemption confirmation required.
