The Role

We are seeking a People Business Partner to join our people team! In this critical role supporting the G&A organization (General & Administrative), you will be a trusted resource and the go-to partner for employees, managers, and leaders to support and align the business's vision, mission, and overall objectives with our talent strategies. You'll quickly adapt to and understand the business strategy to ensure you are providing dynamic solutions using data analyses and organizational agility to guide their decision-making. Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.

The current range for this role is $126,000 - $235,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

What You'll Do

  • Be an inspiring leader and the point of contact for strategic consultation for the G&A organization. You will be accountable for leading programs at scale, from needs identification to implementation, considering the unique needs of our internal clients, and in close partnership with our Talent Programs, People Operations, Talent Acquisition and Workplace teams.
  • Responsible for helping to strengthen the effectiveness of our people leaders by coaching, counseling, and guiding leaders to further develop their leadership capability, impact, and influence.
  • You will need to have proven leadership and consulting experience on matters such as organizational development, employee mentorship and development, as well as performance and talent management, organizational realignment, talent acquisition, retention and reward strategies, and People team program implementation and execution with internal clients.
  • Build a data-driven approach to solutions and leverage analytics and insights to create compelling narratives for change and to gain sponsorship to drive informed decision-making.
  • Turn complex situations into a digestible, practical format for business leaders and their teams.
  • Establish yourself as a partner with the go-to-market organization on talent management and initiatives to support dynamic change, org evolution, and employee engagement.
  • Advise on organizational design and structure, team development, and building an environment and employee experience that inspires and motivates employees.

Who You Are

  • 15+ years of experience in a progressive Business Partner role, with a broad depth of knowledge in management coaching, organizational design, compensation, employee relations, strategic workforce planning, training, and HR policy and compliance, change/transition management processes, and talent program implementation.
  • An analytical and critical thinking mentality to identify root cause and synthesize issues and problem statements.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving consensus from diverse constituencies.
  • Highly skilled in relationship building.
  • Ability to flourish and navigate in a constantly evolving organization and operate comfortably with ambiguity and complexity.
  • Previous experience supporting geographically distributed organizations.
  • A high degree of flexibility and creativity, while being extremely organized and meticulous, with a client centric approach, and excellent communication, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or other related subject area; MA/MS/MBA preferred.
