SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Responsible for loading/unloading trucks, maintaining warehouse in a neat orderly fashion, ensuring pickline is filled for picking needs, rotate product as needed to set up for any incoming product to be received.

Communication with other team members is key to successful daily operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

1. Load/Unload designated trailers and/or route trucks.

2. Load/unload transport truck delivering product and store in designated storage place. Ensure product is in good condition and reports any type of discrepancies.

3. Loads empty pallets and storage shells for transport truck to return to distribution warehouse

4. Correctly rotate and replenish all product in the warehouse as needed. Ensure there is not any out stock product for next shift.

5. All items are stored neatly, and safely, and put away by shift’s end

6. Oversee the receipt of purchased goods verifying counts and quality, complete transactions to receive product, process paperwork and complete all necessary transactions according to established procedures.

7. Maintain warehouse cleanliness. Stores damages in assigned area. Perform general housekeeping duties such as sweeping and mopping as needed.

8. Maintain a clean dock area

9. Maintain and track deposit items to ensure sufficient dunnage is being returned to suppliers

10. Proficient Knowledge in Thermosafe and Chilled Operation procedures.

11. Comply with company policies and procedures.

12. Build customer orders, Hot Shots, or other orders as needed.

13. Regular and predictable attendance is required

14. Performs other functions or duties as directed by management in line with the objectives of Oneta Company.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· High school or GED equivalent.

· 1-2 years of previous Warehouse Experience

· Demonstrated results in improving business performance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

· Possess thorough knowledge of all inventories in warehouse

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to perform all warehouse duties such as forklift operations, palletizing product, loading/unloading trucks

· Excellent teamwork, problem solving, communication, and time management skills

· Strong math skills to aid in inventory scenarios

WORKING AND ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS

• Extreme hot and cold temperatures depending on weather

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs. or more

· A lot of sitting for a minimum of at least 6 hours per day

· Bending/ stooping/ reaching, repeatedly.

· Pushing / pulling up to 50 lbs, repeatedly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.50 per hour
