Physical Therapy Assistant- Sterling Heights Job at Metro EHS Pediatric Therapy
MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy is looking to expand our outstanding team at our South Sterling Heights neighborhood clinic! We are looking to bring on the perfect person to help us with pediatric physical therapy assistant (PTA) duties. This is a position that provides the opportunity to work alongside physical therapists treating physically impaired or disabled children. As a pediatric physical therapy assistant, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Your responsibilities include working with patients on specific types of functional training to improve their coordination and balance, modifying toys and equipment to increase independence, documenting the progress of the patients, and discussing the current treatment options and long-term goals with the patient’s parents or guardians.
Qualifications:
Two-year PTA associate degree program
State licensing requirements, as warranted

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
