Planning Commission Clerk Job at Jefferson County, WA
PLANNING COMMISSION CLERK: Jefferson County Department of Community Development has an opening for one clerk hire (15-20hrs/month) Planning Commission Clerk. This position Organizes required elements for planning commission meetings including: digital setup, agenda distribution, mailings, legal notices, etc. Attends planning commission meetings as coordinator. Records meetings; takes minutes of each meeting and transfers them to digital format for public availability.
Includes other Planning Commission tasks as assigned or required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE (Minimum): High School Diploma or GED and experience with word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word and Excel). Must have WA State Driver License. Organization is willing to train the right individual.
WORK WEEK: Evenings of the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. Additional time throughout week to prep meeting packets and process minutes after Planning Commission meetings. This position has a max of 69/hrs a month.
WAGE: This positions wage is $20/hr.
