ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prepare items as required to recipe card with accuracy speed and “clean as you go” policy.
- Follow all policies, procedures and kitchen rules and regulations as outlined in the associates handbook.
- Prepare mise-en-place for station and meal period. Assist other cooks as needed. Set-up, restock and maintain food preparation areas.
- Serve all menu items with proper plate presentation and attention to detail.
- Attend all kitchen meetings as directed.
- Comply with “quality and food safety standards”.
- Ensure that all food items are on hand for appropriate meal periods.
- Date all food containers and rotate as per the SOP following the FIFO policy.
- Making sure all perishables are kept at proper temperatures and stored properly.
- Assist in setting up plans and action to correct any food cost problems; control food waste, loss and usage.
- To assist in follow through of spoiled product and portion control.
- Assist with all banquet dish-ups, carving and pre-dish preparation.
- Flexibility in availability to work according to business needs, including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Provide leadership on the line in assistance to Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Executive Chef, Banquet Chef and/or Pastry Chef.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
