Position overview:

We are searching for a portfolio analyst to join the Mission Systems Finance IPP&C team. We are looking for someone with strong communication, analytical, and collaborative skills that enjoys working with cross-functional environment. In this role, you would develop a team of analysts to provide program performance guidance through detailed analysis and business insight to assist and influence senior leadership business decisions. This position is remote with business travel as required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB), estimate at completions (EAC), forecasts (Sales, Profit and Cash Flow)
  • Conduct variance analysis based on actuals, spend plans and trends
  • Establish a Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS)
  • Earned Value Management reporting internally / externally
  • Establish GPD - Grouping, Pegging and Distribution in SAP
  • Ensure accurate financial performance milestones and metrics
  • Collaborate with Program Managers, Contract Managers, and Cost Account Managers
  • Partner with Program Management, Engineering and your business unit Controller
  • Engage and familiarize yourself with the other business leaders
  • Ensure Compliance with all required corporate, department and government policies and regulations (i.e. FAR, CAS, GAAP, DCMA, DCAA)
  • Monitor program margin positions are current, accurate, and consistent with program status

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
  • Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Experience SAP
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and VBA Skills
  • Strong program controls and EVMS background
  • Good analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of the FAR desired
  • Proficiency in managing portfolio of projects
  • Strong understanding of Continuous Improvement concepts
  • Must be a US citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Finance preferred

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
