Cytophil is a manufacturer of medical implantable devices located in East Troy Wisconsin. We are looking to grow our production team and are seeking a detail oriented, reliable, and energetic individual to fill our Production Associate role.

As our Production Associate, you will be responsible for performing activities for the manufacture of medical devices with direction given from the Production Supervisor and/or the Production Manager, as well as:

• Perform manufacturing under SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) for medical devices in a clean room environment
• Must follow established procedures with exceptional documentation. Attention to detail a must.
• Proactively questions when appropriate for direction and decision process.
• Document all phases of assembly per SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) to maintain ISO, FDA and GMP compliance.
• Assist in the execution and documentation preventative maintenance activities
• Assist in operation of ISO Class 8 Clean Room
• Work with continuous improvement program
• Perform packaging activities
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist with production tracking activities
• Assist in production inspections and cleanroom monitoring
• Provide support to the quality management system
• Assist with product testing, validations, and qualifications

Desired Skills:

• Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and make suggestions for improvement
• Good organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ideal Candidates:

• Acceptable: An associate degree in chemistry or two years of college in chemistry, or two years in the chemical manufacturing field or equivalent.
• Preferred: Medical device manufacturing experience or Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biology.
• Regulated industry experience
• Attention to detail – ability to notice when something is “off” even when “following the directions”
• Self-starter – someone not scared of figuring things out on their own
• Multitasker
• Ability to work with a variety of personalities

Work Environment:

• Work is performed in office environment, Lab, ISO Clean Room, and assembly/packaging areas.
• Light to medium lifting may be required (up to 45 lbs).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
