Title: Production Associate / Hose Assembler
Hours between 7:00 AM through 3:30 PM (Monday through Friday.)
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Purpose: This position will report to the production lead and assists in the day-to-day branch activities.
Responsibilities: This position is required to possess a comprehensive knowledge of the assembly processes. This position is responsible for the assembly of hydraulic hose assemblies while following company policies/procedures and customer requirements. Listed are attributes that include but are not limited to;
- Detail knowledge of the production processes
- Ability to problem solve production processes i.e. product inspections/evaluations, nonconforming product, inventory control, quality processes
- Support continuous improvement and quality objectives
- Fill out and submit inspection paperwork
Essential experience:
- Able to use various equipment–saws, crimpers, forklifts, etc.
- Able to use and read tape measures and calipers
- Operations Knowledge necessary
- Understanding of Industrial assembly process, a plus
- Experience in Continuous Improvement
- Able to read and understand work instructions
- Work within a fast-paced work environment
- Computer skills highly desirable
Necessary Skills:
- Good reasoning skills & decision-making abilities
- Must have good math skills
- Demonstrate good communication skills
- Attitude “willing to go beyond customer expectations”
