Production Worker Job at CDS
CD Staffing is a locally owned and operated staffing firm with a location in Dade City. We operate in over 14 locations in four states and continue to grow! We have an opening in the Dade City area for a Production workers & General Laborers.
Monday - Friday 3pm - 11pm
Job Description
· Job duties consist of pouring and/or finishing of concrete, setting up of concrete forms, stripping of concrete forms and handling of finished concrete product.
· Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor, moving, lifting, and placing and preparing materials for precast concrete production.
· Qualified candidates may operate heavy machinery (i.e., Forklift, Gantry Crane, Loader).
· Always maintain a clean work area; pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site to eliminate potential hazards.
· Work proficiently using diagrams and production drawings and/or written schedules.
· Work safely and ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed; Communicate concerns to Supervisor, Job Requirements desired
Qualifications:
· Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in concrete production and outdoors production environment.
· Attention to detail in all aspects of the work environment.
· Ability to complete daily activities according to work schedule.
· Ability to repeatedly lift and carry heavy objects (75 pounds), walk, and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
· Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
· Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
· Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
