Job Description
Collaborates and assists with the promotion, planning, implementation and monitoring of diversity and inclusion programs, events, and activities for the University community in support of the office of Diversity and Community Engagement. Performs all duties in full support of the University's mission, understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the education of the University's students.

Description of Key Responsibility: Actively participates in the identification, coordination, and implementation for all diversity, equity and inclusion campus professional development and work programs designed to celebrate and promote diversity through organized events and other professional development and awareness opportunities. Evaluates the effectiveness of the programming and makes recommendations for improvement and opportunities for future programming.

Description of Key Responsibility: Establishes, cultivates and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external campus partners including, Human Resources Development and Institutional Advancement in an effort to provide high quality, comprehensive programming. Partners effectively with internal and external constituencies to ensure logistics of programming is successful.

Description of Key Responsibility: Assists with leading the Universitys Affinity Groups ( NESTS ) in an effort to foster and promote positive action intervention to support under-represented groups. Makes recommendations for new Affinity groups as well as supports current Affinity Groups in their programming.

Description of Key Responsibility: Gathers and analyzes analytics on programs and DEIJB efforts across the campus. Assists with report preparation on DEIJB efforts. Makes recommendations for areas of opportunity to expand DEIJB efforts. Studies industry best practices and trends in an effort to provide inclusive, impactful and relevant training to the community and establish expertise in these efforts.

Description of Key Responsibility: Maintains the DEIJB webpage ensuring all information is current and accurate. Promotes, via UNOTES , DEIJB events, highlights activities and staff/faculty spotlight accomplishments.

Description of Key Responsibility: Performs related duties, as assigned or required to meet departmental and University goals and objectives.

Description of Key Responsibility: Represents the department on committees as necessary and/or appropriate.

Formal Education:
Bachelors Degree Required

Work Experience:
Normal office situation. Requires travel, excluding overnight stays.
