With continuous growth on the horizon, The Kleingers Group is seeking a team-oriented and talented individual for a Landscape Architect Project Manager within our Landscape Architecture Studio.
People are choosing to enjoy outdoor spaces where they live, work, and play. As a Landscape Architect Project Manager, you will help bring these outdoor spaces to life. Collaborate with team members to provide design and technical construction documentation production of landscape architecture projects such as planting design plans, hardscape plaza design, construction documentation and detailing for park and recreation sites, streetscape plans, public space design, and site master planning. Interpret verbal and written directions from project leaders into professionally completed construction documents and renderings. As an integral member of the team, you will play an important role in providing each client with an exceptional experience. A passion for the profession, motivation and team communication skills are essential.
The Role:

  • Lead projects from conception through construction documentation and administration.
  • Design and construction documentation plan production for landscape architecture projects as assigned.
  • Collaborate with engineers to integrate landscape architecture with other planned elements.
  • Provide design and efficient plan production on all phases of a project from conceptual design through construction documentation utilizing AutoCAD.
  • Complete working drawings, design sketches, construction documentation sets and construction details.
  • Provide quality control and quality assurance on technical related aspects of projects.
  • Ensure effective communications and a positive work environment with customers, clients, and co-workers.
  • Meet stated client and team-initiated deadlines.

The Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree from an accredited university in Landscape Architecture.
  • 10 or more years of experience providing LA services for private and/or public sector clients.
  • Strong quality assurance and quality control skills.
  • Ability to lead projects from conception to finish.
  • Proficient knowledge of landscape and hardscape materials, design, and construction processes.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD with clear understanding of technical drawings – plans and details.
  • Demonstrated design ability in aesthetic planting design documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate with design team and proceed with detailed design development.
  • Proficiency in GIS/ArcView, MS Word, Excel and AutoCAD.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • A creative and communicative team player who can learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $87,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
