Dr. Goldberg and Associates is a growing psychotherapy practice with five locations and over 55 mental health Clinicians, including Psychiatric Medication Management. We are currently looking for a Full-Time Medication Management Coordinator to add to our support team!

People for this position will work in one of our 5 locations and will report to the Psychiatric Medication Managers, as well as the Clinical Director of their location.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

· Responding to inquiries and scheduling intakes and follow-up sessions efficiently and effectively to optimize providers’ schedules.

· Communicating directly with Psychiatric Medical team clearly and succinctly regarding patient and pharmacy requests and responding accordingly.

· Assist Psychiatrists and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners with administrative and medical office tasks.

· Administrative support for management and providers.

· Call pharmacies to inquire about prescription receipts, prior authorizations, and to learn more about patient issues regarding their medications.

· Update patient charts accurately and consistently with demographic information and pharmacy information.

· Maintain a high level of Confidentiality and Professionalism

· Complete tasks in a timely fashion

· Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

· Must have reliable transportation

· Must be extremely well-organized and have excellent problem-solving skills

· Must have relevant medical office experience and a working knowledge of psychotropic medications

· Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma (or Equivalent)

Must be:

· Friendly, polite, patient, and kind

· Ready to work and a team-player

· Able to perform well in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment

· Able to multitask and work independently. Some tasks cannot be completed all at once, so the person for this position must be able to follow-up and follow-through.

· Dependable and punctual

· Able to work well under pressure during busy times and be a self-starter during down-time.

· Willing to learn and follow instructions

A PLUS, but not required:

· Psychiatric office experience

· Pharmacy technician experience

· Medical Billing and Insurance knowledge

· Bilingual speaker

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
